A Decade of Impact
In 2012, John Salzinger founded a company that created both a new category and business model. Seungah Jeong joined as CEO in 2016.
The category was solar portable lighting, and the business model relied upon sales in traditional retail channels to help subsidize the distribution of the same products at reduced margins for non-profit work. By the time of its acquisition in 2024, this B Corp had impacted 5 million lives without access to clean, reliable power and averted 4 million tons of CO2 globally.
Co-founded by Seungah Jeong and John Salzinger, their newest endeavor, HAVEN Lantern, utilizes over a decade's worth of collective experience in the great outdoors and disaster relief to provide the most reliable, powerful portable light + power available.
HAVEN is more than just technology and hardware. It is a guiding light, a safe harbor, a beacon of hope.
